Babylove & the Van Dangos. The line-up features ex Furillo lead singer Daniel Broman, trombone player and ice cream connoisseur ”Funky Kris” and drummer Mikkel ”Slave” Szlavik. After a long period of slowly moving towards the more melodic and traditional, this outfit gives the members (especially those with old aching bones) the chance to express the ”sweetness” of ska music. Whether it’s a instrumental gone haywire or a tearsoaked love song the key words are: ”music for dancers and lovers”. Babylove & The Van Vangos has played succesfully at the Copenhagen ska-scene since summer 2004 and now the world is waiting to be rocked with soulful and sweetloving ska-rhythms. Since March 2005 the band has been in the top of the ska and reggae charts on one the worlds biggest upcoming band MP3 homepages, www.purevolume.com, and the band has a track (“rude boy”) on the forthcoming compilation from Muchroom Cloud records, USA.
