Das frei von fremden Einflüssen geträllerte Heimatlied nach der Tagesschau oder die Rockband, die mit dem Anschein kokettiert und alles gar nicht so meint, sind genauso politisch, wie die, durch wen auch immer zum Kommentar befugten, akademisch Zuständigen. Rotes Haus bevorzugen eine offene Sprache als Rezept gegen den Strudel permanenter Desinformation, machen Soundtracks u.a.über Vertreibungskommandos vor der eigenen Haustür, über Gesichter, die an den verordneten Selbstverzückungsfassaden unbeteiligt vorbeihuschen. Die Musik von Rotes Haus ist mehr als Kulisse. Das Sprachgemisch der Tracks ergibt sich nicht nur aus den gesungenen Texten (deutsch, engl., franz.), auch das musikalische Vokabular ist aus mehr als einer Straßenecke zusammengetragen: Breakbeats mit Gipsyswing ("Il"), Gamestation-Geräusche mit Punkgitarren("An einem neuen Morgen danach"), eine Saz zu Housebeats ("Babylon By Bus"). Die Spielereien am Experimentierbaukasten schaffen es allerdings nie, den meist einfachen Refrain und seine häufige Wiederholung zu verhindern.
