Berenice Beach is a punk rock band from the eastern suburbs of Milan that formed in the first months of 1998.
After a short period of intensive rehearsing, the band, initially composed
by Sal Rinella (guitar & voice), Stefano Loi (bass & voice) and Beppe
Stablum (drums) record a ten pieces demo-tape titled "Here we go".
In september 1999 the band records their first 7" on "Tre Accordi Records"
titled "'99" that permits them to play, among the others, with the american
Pansy Division, the canadians Sub Humans, the english UK Subs and to partecipate
at the Angry Brigade Tour.
In the first 6 months of 2000, some serious health problems of the bass player
obliges the band to a long break, the hearts are beating, the ideas are blazing,
Berenice Beach grows stronger around the pain of their irreplaceable member...."....desperate
but alive, intended not to give in....".
In september 2000 they recruite a second guit player (Teo) and the band,
finally completed, works to realize their first album "Runaway" that was
recorded in 2001.
