Band Story :
The band formed in September 1993 and had their first gig in December 93 as support band for "The Magnificent".
In January 1994 we engaged Manuela as our second (female) singer, at that point of time lead singer Olaf started palying the saxophone, which created a very own style of music. Olaf used to play with the "Blaggers I.T.A." in England for about one year and played sax on their LP "United Colors of Blaggers I.T.A.", as well on the LP "Blood, Sweat and Beers" of "Red Alert".
In March 1994 "Stage Bottles" had their final line-up and played their second gig with "The Business". That followed gigs with "The Oppressed" (London, October 1996, Anti Fascist Festival), Cock Sparrer, Red London, Red Alert, Oxymoron, Bad Manners, Loaded, Klasse Kriminale, Braindance and many more.
In November 1994 "Nightmare/Knock Out rec." released the first single "They are watching me", which sold out in about two month. In June 1995 followed the LP "Corruption & Murder" on "Mad Butcher rec.", which after a second edition is also sold out. In February 1997 the second singel "Take That" was released by "Knock Out rec.", that followed the new, second album "Big Kick", released in May 1998 as LP and CD as well as a re-release of the first LP now on CD.
Musical main influences are the classic Punkrock and Oi! bands of the early eighties like "Angelic Upstarts", "Cockney Rejects", "Cock Sparrer" as well as bands like "Blaggers I.T.A." or "Leatherface".
By integrating the saxophone the band has created a very own melodic style of music, which can't be seen as pure punkrock music anymore.
The band members all have different political backgrounds starting from some members being left wing to others, being non-political, but they have one thing in common : the hate for fascism which they express in some of their songs. But politics is not at all, so they sing as well about problems of life like trouble with coppers and state, drinking and having party time and so on.
